Does Kim share the same views and
opinions as Jimmy?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Although she has
certainly been influenced by Jimmy over
the years, Kim is still her own person
and has her own views and opinions and
should not be judged based on anything
that Jimmy says on this website.
Just who is Jimmy Powell and why
does he think he is so special?
Jimmy Powell is simply a guy with a
larger than life ego & reputation who
makes a living designing and hosting
websites. As for being special, everyone
should believe they are special. He
doesn't consider himself normal or
typical and neither should you. If you
don't believe in yourself, then who
will?
What is the
purpose of this site?
This website serves two main purposes
the first of which is to entertain and
inform our friends, family, and anyone
else who visits our site as to what's
going on in our lives. The second
purpose is to provide Jimmy with a
creative outlet to test new website
ideas and concepts as that's what he
does for a living.
How long has this
site been around?
Since December, 1999 which makes it one
of the oldest and longest running blogs
on the internet.
How much time do
you spend keeping this site current?
Anywhere from 0 - 10 hours a week
depending on Jimmy's mood.
Do you make money
from this site?
A little...but nothing to write home
about...usually enough to buy a carton
of beer each month if that. Advertisers
pay us to run banners on this site
because of the high volume of traffic we
get but Jimmy makes most of his money
from doing freelance website design and
hosting thru his company, Stellar Media
Group. This website and his company are
two completely separate ventures and
will always remain separate. Of course
you are free to click on any banners as
often as you like...every click earns us
a little money.
Does Jimmy think
he is smarter than everyone else?
Yes. Maybe not at Calculus or
translating Latin, but when it comes to
subjects that matter such as Religion,
Society & Culture, Politics &
Government, Crime & Punishment, etc.,
etc., Jimmy is a formidable opponent. He
reads, researches and studies these
subjects on a weekly basis and debating
him on any of these issues is the kind
of thing that will make you hate him.
Does Jimmy really
believe his own hype?
No. The main purpose of this site has
and always will be entertainment. Those
that know Jimmy and hang around him
enough will tell you that he is very
down to earth and would be the first
person to make fun of himself. He may
express some very strong views and
opinions on here but out in the real
world, unless you intentionally engage
him in a debate, he's just interested in
having a beer or two, listening to some
good Rock N' Roll, dancing with his
girl, and having a good time.
