There's some good news to report in the world today. The voters in Georgia finally sent Cynthia McKinney packing today as she lost her bid for re-election to Attorney Hank Johnson who was a virtual unknown 5 weeks ago. McKinney is the crazy congressional rep from Georgia who believes the Bush administration knew about 9/11 before it happened and then assaulted a congressional police office earlier this year when he had 'the nerve' to ask for her ID when he didn't recognize her. B-otch!

Not too much to report this week. We were out and about all weekend just messing around but not really doing anything significant. Just doing a little shopping, running a few errands, eating out, watching movies, recycling and doing clothes. That's what we did this weekend...enough said and I don't feel like doing a lengthy post right now.

Here's one that literally made me laugh out loud...enjoy!

A pompous minister was seated next to a Redneck on a flight across the country. After the plane was airborne, drink orders were taken. The Redneck asked for a Jack Daniels and coke, which was brought and placed before him.

The flight attendant then asked the minister if he would like a drink. He replied in disgust, "I'd rather be savagely raped by brazen whores than let liquor touch these lips."

The Redneck immediately handed his drink back to the flight attendant and said, "Shit, me too. I didn't know we had a choice!"    

This is an awesome way to tell your neighbors what you think of them. My neighbors to the right are oriental so I guess I could carve my hedges into a Godzilla shape! LOL!
    

We finally saw Pirates last night and it was pretty awesome in our opinions. It was nearly 2½ hours long but I would have gladly sat thru 8 hours it was so good. The special effects were great and it has lots of little twists and turns. The ending kinda blows your mind and we'll have to wait till next summer to see the conclusion. Another great thing was that you get to see the trailer for the Transformers which comes out next July 4th and should in all likelihood be HUGE!

Today marks the six year anniversary of Jim & Kim. It's become tradition for us to "recreate" our first date each year by having dinner at Outback Steakhouse and then watching X-Men on DVD. We even go so far as wearing the same outfits that we wore on our first date. And at least I get to spend the nite these days! Ha-ha! Here's to six years and counting! :-)

We had a small pool party at our place yesterday to celebrate my 5th annual 29th birthday and to share our pool with friends in light of how hot it's been lately. Of course after two solid weeks of sunny skies and scorching temps, Saturday was overcast and not nearly as hot. Murphy's Law I guess. It was still lots of fun and thanks to a few Jack shots, I had to take a little "nap" after everyone left. You know you had a fun day when you wake up at 1am with a slight hangover. Thx to everyone for coming!  We had a great time!

We're thinking of having another pool party for Kim's birthday in a few weeks and hopefully it will be sunnier. Here's a few pics from our "get together" using a new script I'm currently toying with. 
  

Happy Birthday wishes going out to Devin "D-Lo" Lowery today! Haven't seen or heard from you in forever so I hope you have a GREAT birthday and hopefully we'll bump into next Christmas! Is it just me or all great people Leo's? LOL!

This is perhaps the funniest and saddest story about George Michael ever. The former 80's pop icon and heartthrob to millions of women was caught stepping out from the bushes after having sex with a fat, 58-year-old unemployed van driver whom he had just met in a London park which is notorious for being a gay pick-up spot. For those not familiar with what a "gay pick-up spot" is, it's a place where gay men go to meet other gay men and have random sexual encounters. For whatever reason, public parks seem to be their venues of choice.

The story gets even better or worse depending on what you find entertaining. Michaels (who is worth about $130 million dollars) speed away in his Mercedes coupe while reporters photographed Norman Kirtland, the guy Michaels just made out with in the bushes. Kirkland then hurried to his van where a dingy old mattress was clearly visible in the back. Journalists then tracked Kirkland down at his house the next day where he answered the door completely naked and actually gave an interview about the incident saying....

I just can't imagine being worth $130 million dollars and doing something as desperate and depraved as this.

Happy Birthday wishes going out to me today! Despite what Barry & Shannon have on their site, today is my 29th birthday! Ha! My big plans for today are simply to work if I feel like it and spend most of the day floating in the pool. Special thanks to Barry & Shannon for the website post and all the pics. I seem to get better looking each year don't I? :-p

(And yes, my dad's birthday was yesterday and mine is today...my future son will be born on the 26th in accordance with prophecy)

Happy Birthday wishes going out to my dear old dad today. Today is his 62nd birthday which means he can now retire and enjoy life! I think he's gonna do that at the end of the year. Sadly I can't be there to celebrate his big day...one of the drawbacks of living so far away. :-(  Another drawback is that I also don't have a lot of recent pics of me and him so I had to use this old one where I made a surprise visit to SoBo and snuck up behind him, hence the funny look at someone grabbing him from behind. He was smiling 2 seconds after this.

While on a European tour, Ted Nugent was being interviewed by a French journalist. The journalist asked, "What do you think the last thought is in the head of a deer before you shoot it? Is it, "Are you my friend?" or is it `Are you the one who killed my brother?'"

Nugent replied, "They aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French."

It was HOT this weekend so we spent all day Saturday floating in our pool and getting very close to getting sun burnt so we should have some killer tans in the next few weeks. I've actually been trying out a pair of tan thru Speedos so hopefully I'm gonna have a nice all over tan, but you won't be seeing any pics of me in my Speedos on here...I can promise you that! Ha-ha!

Saturday night we tried to see Pirates but it was sold out so we saw Lady In The Water instead. I liked it although it was a little drawn out and silly at times. Still a good movie and I'm a sucker for any film by M. Night Shamalan.

Sunday was even HOTTER than Saturday but we got so much sun the day before that we really couldn't lay out again so we beat the heat but going shopping and picking up a few little things here and there. I eventually got in the pool once the sun set. So that was our weekend.

We may try and have a pool party next weekend...we'll see.

This is actually an alligator but Holy Crocodile sounded better...can you see the subtle message in this alligator's scales?

I don't think I've been inside a church in years (holy water tends to burn my skin) but this one in Georgia sounds pretty cool...Cumming First United Methodist Church. And get this...their website domain name is....wait for it...
