Shoot To

This
story was on the news a few weeks ago and caused just
enough outrage to get Jessica Jackson involved which is
never a good thing. Long story short, some guy led cops
on a police chased thru Compton and at the end of the
chase, 13 cops fired 120 rounds at this guy and
only hit him 4 times, and he lived!
Naturally the black community got all up in arms saying
it was racist even though there were black and Hispanic
cops there in addition to the white cops...but to me the
real story was how the hell do 13 "trained" police
officers fire 120 rounds and miss 116 times?
Just look
at the photo above...the red circles are cops, the
yellow circle is the guy they are shooting at remember
there are 10 other cops not in the frame of this shot
shooting as well. Look how close the one cop is to him!
At that distant he could throw the gun at him and hurt
him.
The guy
wasn't high on PCP or wasn't wearing protecting
gear...he was just some stupid dude that refused to pull
over and gestured like he had a gun.
I'm a big
fan of law enforcement but I gotta say these cops suck!
I'm no marksman but I have enough experience with a gun
to know at that range I could have put every bullet in
my gun in the guy without missing and right or wrong, he
wouldn't have lived. If I ever have to have a shoot out
with the cops, I hope it's these cops.

-
KFC Demonstration - This is so me! A bunch
of tree huggers are protesting the treatment of
chickens in front of a KFC and a dude gets a big
bucket of chicken and eats it in front for them!
Awesome!
-
Imaginary Girlfriends - Blow-up doll not
cutting it? Get yourself an imaginary g/f from this
website. The best part of this website is the "Bea A
Girlfriend" section which offers $30-$100 per
imaginary relationship and doesn't require you to be
who you say you are! Wonder how many guys are making
a living being an imaginary girlfriend to other
loser guys?!? My advice for getting a
girlfriend...log off and leave the house!
-
When In Rome - A kid takes 25 roman candle
shots to the chest in this clip and if you're
depraved like I am, you'll crack up laughing. And
really, if kids do this for fun, is what happened at
Abu-Grab all that bad?
-
Camel Toe Video - Yes, it's what you think

it.

Good Manners

A teacher was
discussing good manners with her class one day...
Teacher:
"Michael, if you were on a date, having dinner with a
nice young lady, how would you tell her that you have to
go to the bathroom?"
Michael:
"Just a minute, I have to go pee."
Teacher:
"That would be rude and impolite!!! What
about you Peter, how would you say it?"
Peter:
"I am sorry , but I really need to go to the bathroom,
I'll be right back."
Teacher:
"That's better, but it's still not very nice to say the
word bathroom at the dinner table. And what about you
Jimmy, how would you use your good manners in this
case?"
Jimmy:
"I would say: 'Please excuse me for a few moments
gorgeous. I have to shake hands with a very dear friend
of mine whom I hope you'll get to meet after dinner."
Good manners are so important! |

America
would be a much better place if we had more cops like
this. He pulls over a woman for speeding, having a
broken windshield, a tail-light out and not wearing a
seatbelt and believe it or not, she gives him attitude.
He keeps his cool, calls for back-up and she continues
to give attitude and then refuses to get out of her
vehicle once they discover her license is suspended. He
breaks out the tazer and gives her several more chances and
warnings but when she still refuses to exit the vehicle,
this dude does not hesitate and zaps her ass good. The
funny thing is that she is on her cell phone telling
someone on the other end everything that is going on
right up until she get's zapped. I bet she'll obey the
cops next time she's pulled over.

Star Wars -
Revelations

If
you've already seen the "last" Star Wars movie and
wondering what's next?...this may be it. This is a 48
minute fan film made by a couple in Virginia at a cost
of $200,000 and it's the buzz of the internet right now.
I downloaded it this weekend and haven't had time to
watch the whole thing yet but to be a fan film, it looks
pretty good complete with light sabers, storm troopers
and even the man himself...Darth Vader.
The movie is about 240mb so
download time is considerable for all you dial-up peeps
but worth the wait if you're a die-hard Star Wars fan.
Right click on the link below and
choose Save target as... and then save it
to wherever you want it on your pc. Enjoy!

Speaking
of Loverboy, we recorded the new NBC show "Hit Me Baby
One More Time" last week which features bands from way
back when trying to make a comeback. It was actually
pretty entertaining in a sad sort of way. Loverboy was
the worst by far. The singer was fat, out of breathe,
had the stage presence of an elephant and just sounded
terrible. If I had met this guy on the street and he
told me he was the singer for Loverboy I would have
called him a liar.
Tiffany also performed and
she was also sporting some major love handles which is
surprising since she was in Playboy a few years ago
looking pretty hot. I wonder why these celebs never have
anyone around them to tell them the truth when they look
or sound bad.
The worst part of the show
was the host! Some British lad with an Orbit smile whose
accent just makes you want to punch him. This week's
episode is a must see with Vanilla Ice performing Ice,
Ice Baby! |

Working The
Weekend

Comment On This Post
Loverboy used to sing 'everybody's
working for the weekend' but I actually had to
work the weekend. We were sitting around Friday
night having a few drinks, watching The O'Reilly Factor
and reading the paper when Kim noticed an ad for a
street fair going on in Palos Verdes over the weekend. I
had completely forgotten that I was supposed to
photograph that event so that realization pretty much
crushed my weekend spirits but that's the life of a
photographer sometimes. So now I'm working for next
weekend!
Our weekend was all work
though. Wade & Abbey dropped by Saturday evening and
hung out for a while which was fun. After they left for
their night on the town Kim and I had a very late dinner
at Islands and decided it was too late to see a movie
(especially after such a late dinner) and came home.
I spend Sunday afternoon
photographing the aforementioned street fair and then
spent the rest of the night (literally) updating our
Office software on all our pc's which pretty much shot
what little weekend I had left. And in the strangest
twist of all, I went to bed at 11:00 p.m. last
night...hence the later than usual updates. |

You

in the editing department should have caught it before
it went to press.
